COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO. The North Idaho Pride Alliance (NIPA) extends its heartfelt gratitude to the jury for their thoughtful deliberations in the recent Posey v. Bushnell court case that has deeply impacted our community.
The verdict and outcome were what we hoped for, and we deeply appreciate the jury’s dedication and careful consideration of the facts presented.
NIPA remains steadfast in our mission to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout Northern Idaho. Our vision is a community where every individual, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, feels safe, valued, and supported. Despite the challenges posed by hateful events, we continue to work tirelessly to create a welcoming and secure environment for all LGBTQ+ individuals.
In light of recent events, our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Idaho is stronger than ever. We will persist in our efforts to provide resources, education, and advocacy, fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding.
Together, with the support of our allies and the broader community, we will continue to stand against hate and work towards a future where everyone can live authentically and without fear.
